We know how eagerly you are waiting to hold your personalized memories in your hands. DearStory works with trusted regional and international production partners to help your keepsake arrive safely and efficiently.

International Shipping & Regional Production

For supported destinations, we may route an approved book to a production hub closer to the recipient. Regional production can reduce long-distance transit and help avoid unnecessary international customs delays, but exact routing depends on the selected specification, destination, and current partner availability.

Common service regions include:

  • India: Domestic production and delivery.
  • USA, UK & Europe: Regional production is used where the selected book specification is supported.
  • Rest of World: Production and shipping routes are confirmed according to destination and serviceability.

The Production Timeline

Every DearStory is crafted from scratch.

  • Once your source material is received, the story, illustration, and approval process begins.
  • After final digital approval, printing, binding, and quality checks typically require approximately 2 to 5 business days, depending on the edition and production specification.

The Shipping Timeline

  • India: Typically 10 to 15 days, including the relevant production stages.
  • USA, UK & Europe: Typically 7 to 12 working days where regional production is available.
  • Rest of World: Typically 10 to 18 working days; final timing and shipping cost are confirmed for the destination.

Customs, import duties, or local taxes are not universally applicable, but where a shipment crosses borders they may depend on destination rules. Regional production is used where possible to reduce that risk.

Unforeseen Delays

Deliveries may experience delays during national holidays, extreme weather, production congestion, customs processing, or unexpected courier network disruption. We provide tracking information when available and keep clients informed of material delays.
