DearStory may use assisted creative and production tools, but your project remains directed, reviewed, and approved through a human-led process.
This guidance applies to DearStory's bespoke cinematic memoirs, personalized storybooks, relationship archives, family legacy books, and other commissioned projects created from client-supplied personal material.
Where assisted tools may help
- Organising large quantities of supplied material.
- Drafting, language support, transcription, cleanup, or layout exploration.
- Developing visual concepts and production references under creative direction.
- Quality checks, formatting, and repetitive production tasks.
What remains human-led
- Understanding your intent and emotional priorities.
- Selecting the final narrative direction and visual language.
- Reviewing sensitive details and client instructions.
- Editorial decisions, revisions, approvals, and final production responsibility.
No public training permission
DearStory does not claim permission to publish your private source material or use it as public training content. Any third-party service used during production is selected and configured according to the practical requirements of the project, but no online system can be represented as risk-free or infallible.
Your preferences matter
If your project requires special restrictions regarding assisted tools, discuss them with us before sharing your source files. We can confirm what is operationally possible and document the agreed process where necessary.
