From final proof to your doorstep
Printing & Shipping Confidentiality
Printed projects require selected production and delivery partners. We share only the information reasonably needed to manufacture and deliver your book.
This guidance applies to DearStory's bespoke cinematic memoirs, personalized storybooks, relationship archives, family legacy books, and other commissioned projects created from client-supplied personal material.
What production partners receive
- The print-ready production file required to manufacture the agreed book.
- Technical specifications such as page size, binding, finish, quantity, and colour settings.
- Delivery details required to ship the order.
What they are not authorised to do
- Use your book or source material for unrelated promotion.
- Publish, resell, or distribute your content outside order fulfilment.
- Contact you for unrelated marketing based on your DearStory project.
Packaging and transit
We aim to use professional packaging and established delivery networks. However, physical shipping necessarily involves third-party carriers and cannot be represented as completely free from loss, damage, delay, inspection, or misdelivery risk.
Special delivery concerns
Tell us before production if the book requires discreet labelling, delivery to an alternate address, a named recipient, or timing coordination for a surprise. Availability depends on the selected printer and carrier.
Planning a surprise delivery?
Share the delivery constraints before printing begins so we can confirm what the production and logistics network can support.
